We love California and Disneyland!

We had so much fun in California! We arrived LATE Sunday night, slept in Monday morning, then headed to the LA Temple, and finally to the Santa Monica Beach. (Traffic was HORRIBLE!)

The next three days we spend in DISNEYLAND! We also took my little sister, Daezia, to help out. The kids (and this includes Jeep) were so fun to experience the Disney magic with.

P.S. On our way home, we stayed at Natalie's (my roommate) house in Bakersfield - here are my girls swimming in the pool at her new house! THANKS FOR LETTING US STAY, NAT!

We are so glad we were able to go, but we're also glad to be home again! Now we're resting for our next big vacation for next summer - we're thinking Mount Rushmore!

Triathlon, Jeep's Party, and Salt Lake Trip

WARNING: EXTRA-LONG POST. (Just glance if you're in a hurry; we had lots of fun and took lots of pictures!)

Last Saturday, MahLee, Akaydeh, Kinley, and I did a triathlon in Beaver; they call it a Fitness Festival. There are different age groups and different distances to swim, bike, and run. It was fun, and we want to to do it again.

That night, we had Jeep's official birthday party. As usual, Daez did a great job w/ his basketball cake. Plus, it was nice to hang w/ family. P.S. I can't believe how old he's getting :)

Then, Monday morning, we officially kicked off our summer vacation by going to Salt Lake to visit friends and family. It was so great! Here are the highlights: We attended the Oquirrh Temple Open House - so beautiful, and the girls LOVED it! Plus, we visited Nicole (college roomate), the Lacys (Jeep's cousin), The Wrens (my bff), The Fishers/Del Reals (my cousins), the Caberellos (old neighbors/good friends), and best of all, we got to hang out at the Hansens in between. A huge thanks to my cousin, Marina, who is the hostess w/ the mostest! Thanks for your hospitality and great visits (singing karaoke was my favorite!)
