Trexton is 3!!!

I really can't believe what a smart, handsome, and lovable guy Trex is growing into. He is so much fun and constantly keeps us laughing. He also gives really great hugs and tells me he loves me when I most need to hear it.

His party was great and shared with another person I love so much - Daezia. She is my third sister and was kind enough to share her birthday with my first son. (They share a special bond, which is hard to explain but so cute). She turned 15, and I'm very proud of the young woman she is growing up to be - beautiful inside and out. She also made Trex's AMAZING Thomas the Train cake, which he loved!

Romantic Get-a-way... Ok - Just a Get-a-way

We got to spend 2 nights in Richfield - just Jeep and me! We went to Girls State Basketball during the days (not very romantic, but we just love basketball). It was fun to hang out with a stress-free Jeep :)

OuR AnNiVeRsArY - 9 YeArS!

I was pretty nervous to get married back in the day. I was so unsure about the future. When Jeep got home from his mission, we started dating again right away. He was so fun, and it just felt good to be around him. However, I still let doubts creep in. One day while reading my scriptures, I had the warmest feeling come over me. It's one of the first times I remember finding an answer to my prayers. I knew marrying Jeep would be a good thing because when something is good - and built upon - more good keeps coming. That has been so true in this case.

The last 9 years have been so wonderful. Don't get me wrong - life's not always perfect, but Jeep makes me so happy. He is a great husband and father. He's also such a great example to me and the kind of person I strive to be like. I feel humbled and blessed to have him in my life.
