August 2017

"August is the Sunday of Summer," and we try to make the most of it each year.  Here are our highlights:

Kin and I love hanging out together!
We try hard to get the dentist into our schedules before school starts! Kam was the winner with no cavities!
Our annual cross country camp!  The kids did GREAT, and some of our Fisher cousins joined us!
The annual Milford Car Show also occurs each August, and our kids (especially the boys) love it!
We tried to get in a couple more days of swimming!
A temple date should always be documented.  Jeep's Young Men's Counsellor, Mark Wunderlich, went through for the first time.  I always love going to this place with this guy!
Our fun manager, Loren C., had the idea to hide a colored rock around town, and the founder received a free small shaved ice! How fun!
One of Tay's favorite teachers (they're all her favorite - ha ha) came down to visit.  It was great to see Mrs. Robinson, her husband, and their handsome baby boy.
Kam got to fish with Grandpa Train one more time!
He LOVES fishing!
One more swim day!
*L*O*V*E*
Kin got a recipe for "the perfect chocolate chip cookies" from her Young Women leader, Meaghan Ah-Fook. YUM!
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: Kin-9th (what?!), Tay-6th, (Mrs. Sarah George's homeroom) Trex-4th (Mrs. Jamie Ambrose), and Kam-2nd (Mrs. Cynthia Davis)
Jeep had a "technology day" on the first day of school.
I had to include Stockton on the first day after everyone had left - ha ha ha!!!
Jeep and I taught on Friday, the second day of school (we only teach on A-days).
I don't gush enough about our local library's STORY HOUR. Our awesome volunteers (especially John Fowles and Nichole Christensen) create fun, educational activities that make reading more fun!  We are so thankful for them!
"Machine Day" at Story Hour!
First volleyball game at Wayne:  We won! (I absolutely LOVE watching volleyball, especially seeing my daughter and sister play on their awesome team!)
More evidence that my baby is growing up.  Stockton's first day of pre-school. Wahhhh!!!
He's so adorable!
Stockton attends the pre-school held at the elementary school. Our good friend is his teacher, "Miss Megan" (Porter).
Milford Cross Country Meet: Kin's first face as a high schooler.  She ran well and took second!
Tay ran the junior high race.
Cute finishers.
Some of the runners and helpers: Tay, MahLee, Kaitlin, Kinley, Daezia, ME, and Akaydeh
Kinley was awarded the "Player of the Week" by Denny's in Beaver for her XC performance.  She won a free meal!
We are so blessed to have Maria Slade take our team photos.  She is so talented, and the pictures look beyond awesome!  Also, I'm so glad Kinley had such a great team - on and off the court!
These two are so beautiful and growing so fast!
How is she a freshman?! (I was just a freshman!)
Stockton loves going to Mimi's house when mom works - ha ha!
This picture does not do justice to Akaydeh's reaction to one of her ACE SERVES.  It was a treat to watch, and we always got a point too!
Bryce Valley XC Meet-2nd and 1st places!
The girls team got third overall.  Our neighbor, Whytney (left), joined us this year on the junior high team.  She's a natural and medalled in every race she ran.
Cousin Liv turned TWO!  We love her so much!

July 2017

"Every summer has a story." Here is our July update:

Pre-4th-of-July Race: it's family thing!
Kin won overall girls!
Lindsay came up from St. George to join us.
Handsome boys-Kam, Stox, and Trex.
Beautiful girls-Tay and Kin
Happy 4th of July, from the Spauldings!
All the girl things...
SISTERS PIC!
TAY IS HEALTHY AND CANCER-FREE! Her doctor is really impressed with her health, her activities, and her awesomeness.
Bittersweet day: we helped Kaitlin and her family move from Logan to Salt Lake!  We're glad they're closer, but we will miss visiting Logan.
Tay got to stay with Kaitlin and help for a couple of days.  One of her highlights was seeing her BFF Kayla C.
Toothless Kam
Liv - starting to love Aunt Nisha
MahLee tried out for Miss Beaver County.  She won Miss Congeniality and got 2nd Attendant.
Fun at the cabin!
I hope I never forget the day this kid learned to wink.
I sure love Jeep and the cabin.
I'm so jealous that these two get to run together.  Training starts early for XC!
We miss Dalaki and Olivia, but they're doing well in Oklahoma!
Each of the kids got to stay with Kait after she moved.  She loves her Spaulding cousins. Here is a picture of Kam's turn.
Happy Birthday AKAYDEH! She turned 15!
Liv and Tayleah.
We had so much fun at the Spaulding Reunion held at Bear Lake.  It was fun to catch up with family!
Staying at the KOA was awesome!
Raylee and Kinley were the cool teenagers.
Bear Lake was so fun and very beautiful.
These Spauldings were on the winning "Minute to Win It" team.
We love Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Jean.
On the way home, we stopped in Salt Lake to visit the Durfeys and Temple Square.
Family is the BEST!
F*A*M*I*L*Y
Fun run!  Kin and Akaydeh both medaled at the Beaver Pioneer 5K!
Fun Run AGAIN - Kinley won and Tay medaled.  Akaydeh ran with Tay, which was nice.

Trex's turn with Liv!
Tay took Hunter's Safety, learned a lot, and passed!
KINLEY FINALLY GOT HER BRACES OFF!
We got to attend cousin, Lillie Swallow (now Jensen)'s wedding.

*It was a wonderful month!
