March 2020

We looked forward to track and all things Spring.
Little did we know what this month would bring.
We did get in a little bit of fun,
Before we found out all our plans were done.
We adjusted to being home most of the time.
We leaned on each other and tried to be fine.

The girls basketball team was honored at an assembly.
I love this pic!
The boys dressed up as book characters for Dr. Seuss Day. Kam-Michael Vey, Trex-Percy Jackson, and Stockton-The Cat in the Hat (Leprechaun Version).
Stockton won a match at the North Sevier Bantam Tournament.
Kam won all of his matches at North Sevier, and his last kid was TOUGH!
Trex also won all of his matches at North Sevier. This is his first gold medal in wrestling.
We were so proud of all of our handsome wrestlers.
We decided to make a small family trip and stay in Salina for the night. Here we are eating at Denny's.
I sure love this guy!
Of course, we had to take the kids swimming.

1A vs. 2A All-Star Basketball Game at South Sevier.
Akaydeh got to play, and Jeep got to help coach.
Kin and Akaydeh had a date night/paint night. Fun!
I love these two so much and had to include this pic.
STATE FBLA: Jeep and I took some kids up to State FLBA again. We toured the cool company Qualtrics.
My sisters came to shop, eat, and hang out.
Club dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe. YUM!
Jeep and I were the junior class advisors. Prom was coming along nicely, and the kids learned the promenade as well.
We headed into Spring Break hearing that we might not be coming back to school because of the Corona Virus, otherwise known as COVID-19. We took some kids to the Snow Canyon Track Meet, not knowing if this was the only track meet we would have or not.
Kin signed up for heptathlon events because she'd like to compete in that at BYU this year. She did great and even qualified for State in the 800m. (Sadly, this would be our only track meet).
I love that Trex loves Harry Potter like I do.

With all the uncertainty, we decided to keep our Spring Break plans, and we headed to St. George. We tried to avoid people the best we could, and it was nice to get one last trip in together.
I sure love this family of mine.
Here we are at Fiesta Fun. We had the whole place to ourselves, and we had a blast.
Go carts are a favorite of ours!
We also had fun on the Bumper Boats.
Stockton and I enjoyed the arcade too!
Kin and Trex playing air hockey.
Jeep and Kam shooting some hoops.
The kids had a blast on the scooter rentals.
While we were gone, Kait had my second niece, Adelaide Beth. We love her immensely already.
Stockton MITCHELL and Adelaide BETH. Their middle names come from our Fisher Grandparents.
Gosh, I love her!
We made it home in time to have our first in-home church meeting. It was full of the spirit!
Kam turned ten. I can't believe he's in double digits!
Jeep and I worked from home on A-days. It was interesting in so many ways. The kids also switched to online school. They did well, but it just wasn't the same. Everything shut down due to COVID-19.
We even had to change up how we did Alison's Pantry. CRAZY TIMES for sure!
Happy Birthday to Kaitlin this month!
Happy Birthday to Dad and Mom this month!
And Happy Birthday to Dalaki this month!

February 2020

This month was full wonderful things
Valentines, our Anniversary, and championship rings.
Jeep and I celebrated an incredible 18 years;
We've had ups and downs, victories, and cheers.
Lifelong Tiger dreams were achieved
All because our school and town believed!

Kam played travel basketball this year, and he loved it.
Kam played travel basketball this year, and he loved it. Here is playing in Valley.
Kam and Mom.
Funny story: Milford was featured in a Superbowl commercial for Walmart. It was crazy but cool.
Sometimes Jeep is absolutely the best!
Akaydeh was honored for Senior Night in basketball. It's the end of another era.
The three junior basketball players; they've played together for years, and they are each incredible athletes. This was after a victory in Panguitch.
Kam's basketball team placed 5th at their end-of-the season tournament. Not bad since it was a 6th Grade Tournament, and they had four 4th graders, one 5th grader, and two 6th graders.
We sure love these two sleepyheads.
YUM!
Valentine Boxes for 2020: Minecraft and Football, of course.
I got to help with Trex's Valentine Class Party.

REGION BASKETBALL
Time for the Region 20 Basketball Tournament! Yay! (It was held at South Sevier).
We're so excited to watch some/play basketball!
We made it to the Championship Game, where we faced Valley. Kinley had a great Region Tournament. She scored in double digits for each of the three games and had multiple steals and rebounds. We played some close, exciting games. We beat Panguitch the first day (one point), beat Piute the second day (six points), and we lost to Valley by two points on the final day. They made a last-second shot to send us all to our seedings for the State Tournament.
Akaydeh was named to the Academic All-Region Team, along with three of her teammates. We're so proud of them.
HAPPY 18TH ANNIVERSARY! I can't speak for Jeep, but he's the best decision I've ever made! He makes our lives so much better, and I love his so much! (These are pics of our adventures for the last year).
Team bonding! I got to join the girls team and coaches to an SUU Volleyball Game. They won, and it was exciting!
At the SUU GBB Game.
We went up north to watch Dave play basketball. Goodness, he is good! It was great to see them!
HAPPY BIRTHDAYS to Trex (12) and Daezia (24)!
For Trex's birthday, Jeep took Kam and him to the aquarium. Jeep said they had fun and read EVERY single sign!
I got to see my high school friend, Lisa J. She lives by my sisters, and it is always good to see her.
Birthday cake for these two!
Stox and Mom.
Trex's friend party was a success. They played Jackbox games and ate pizza, ships, and cake.

Girls Basketball Pics 2020 (thanks to Maria S.)
STATE BASKETBALL
This picture was taken after our first-day victory against Wayne. We let them back in the game in the second half, but we pulled away in the end. Whew!
On the second day, we faced Monument Valley. They were so tough, good, and different than any other team we played all year. We kept trying to pull away, but they never gave up. Tay was doing the book, and in the fourth quarter, she corrected a "jump ball" call. We went down and scored and snuck away with a 3-point win. It was a hard-fought game.
We faced Panguitch AGAIN for the semi-finals, and we beat them AGAIN! Whoo hoo! We made it to the 'SHIPS!
The boys stayed in Milford for their first Bantam Wrestling Tournament. Luckily, we have some awesome moms to keep an eye on them and take a pic of them since we were at the semi-final basketball game. Kam got 2nd, Stox got 3rd, and Trex got 4th.
Our awesome boys basketball team wore the girls' jerseys as they cheered them on in the Championship Game.
Here, they are warming up for the big game. I'm going to miss watching them play together.
Here is a pic of some of our crowd members. Josh and fam joined us!
Introducing the teams...
WE WON!!! It was such a blessing to have a sister and a daughter on the team, as well as Tay being a manager. Plus, Jeep and Ryan were incredible assistant coaches! We beat Rich by six points for Milford's fist ever Girls Basketball Championship!!! We struggled with foul shots, and Kinley and Mady fouled out; but despite these setbacks, we were strong, physical, and victorious in the end. All those years of traveling and getting beat up by bigger schools finally paid off!
Another victory pictures: LOOK AT ALL THAT RED!
I love all the Tigers, but these are two of my favorites!
Kin cutting the net: a dream come true!
Heston S. wore her jersey. These boys were SOOO supportive. Also, they made it to the final day themselves and placed 8th.
This is a pic of Jeep and Kinley getting interviewed. I could re-watch this for my whole life. Even though Kin didn't have her best game, she sure helped her team all season long. Her words were amazing, and I love her so much!
Brayden F. wore Akaydeh's jersey!
Beyond proud of these girls and coaches!
It was so cool that Josh and his family came!
These girls have so much support! (Koda's wearing green because his school won the boys championship right after our game).
Love these three so much!
YAHOO!
Spaulding Fam at the celebration that night. (Yes, I counted Akaydeh as a Spaulding).
Yay for relatives!
The fun juniors!
Kin and Tay.
All their coaches since third grade (and even before). It takes a village.
So much support for these Lady Tigers!
Larry W. got this pic of the Championship Game. This was Kinley's fourth foul, I believe. It was a rough game.
The cutest supporters!
This picture gives me cold chills! I'm on the first row giving high fives! I love the look on each of their faces. This was such a memorable way to end the month!
