Livingston Family Pictures - 2016

Right before the new year we got to take pictures with my whole family.  Jeep had the great idea to do them in the gym, and Kiana did a great job adjusting the lighting and making us look our best.  I sure love this Tribe! WARNING: LOTS OF PICTURES!

December 2016

The ending of another year brought many blessings to our family.  Here are a few we'd like to share.

The girls finished up city league basketball, and we survived being in charge - ha ha!
Jeep thinks he is so funny!
Kin has GREAT Young Women's leaders and some fun girls to hang out with!
My soon-to-be sister-in-law - Olivia!
Little brother's wedding announcement!
Jeep has been coaching Kinley's age group for a few years now.  They are so fun to watch.
Kam and Trex got to see Santa!
Stockton was so excited for our town's first annual Christmas Lighted Parade!
Santa and the Spauldings in front of the town Christmas Tree!
We had a great time at the NFR!  Our former student (I'm talking LAST YEAR), Ryder, won the first round of the Saddle Bronc!
One of our most successful FHEs was making sugar cookies!
The kids had fun and were so creative!
I caught this little piece of magic shortly after we decorated our tree this year.
Akaydeh introduced dad to SnapChat filters. Hahaha!
Grandpa Train teaching Tay and Kin about the greatest game ever played. <3 nbsp="" td="">
One of our yearly traditions is to read the read "The Mansion."
MHS Christmas Concert 2016 - Akaydeh sang and Kinley played the clarinet.
Tay had to have an emergency appendectomy. It's a good thing she is tough.  I thought she had the flu, but my mom quickly assessed her and suggested for me to take her to the clinic.  Dr. Smith (the same doctor who diagnosed her Cancer) ordered blood work and a CAT Scan.  It had been about seven years since her last CAT Scan, and the anxiety and worried feelings came flooding back.  All I could think was, "This is TOO soon."  She was a champ.  She got her blood drawn, held still, took her medicine, and by the next morning, only ten hours after surgery, she was going to the bathroom on her own and never once asked for pain medicine.  The hardest part for her was being unable to do the activities she loved: dancing in the Christmas Program, sledding, holding her cousin Liv, and playing basketball.  She recovered quickly, and we love her so much!
We're so thankful for Mimi Shelley!  Thanks to a trick from Grandpa Hat (to go on your tip toes, drop to your heels, and check the pain).  This caused Tay excruciating pain, and so we knew to check her appendix since her pain wasn't in the regular spot (right side abdomen).
Tay's favorite second cousin, Brayden, came by and visited!
Olivia and Dalaki had a beautiful sealing and reception.  The love they share is evident to anyone around them.  Our family was so excited to have her join us, and it was wonderful to see Dalaki so very happy.  We wish them the best of luck in Oklahoma, where Dalaki is working on his PhD for the next few years!
The new couple and the Spauldings!
Milford Elementary's Program was beyond wonderful in 2016!  It brought tears to my eyes!  "Miracles can Happen!"
Trex danced to Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree
Kam looked pretty dapper in his dance, too.
The boys finished up city league basketball also this month.

CHRISTMAS EVE!
The whole gang went to the long term care to sing to the residents.  It was a wonderful experience.
Acting out the Nativity: always a wonderful time.
The whole cast!
New Christmas jammies for the Spauldings!
We were so very blessed!
We loved Christmas on Sunday!  The church meeting was wonderful, and we just took our time the whole day,
Stockton was a huge fan of the toys!
Our cousins came from Las Vegas to sled with us.  This is Whytney, our neighbor, and Tay. :)
Here's Kinley with her hot chocolate.
Mom and Stox kept warm in Papa Train's truck.
The boys, Trex and Kam, had a blast!
The kids were great at the dentist, and we only had ONE cavity between them all!  After the dentist, we saw a movie, "Sing!"
We went to Mesquite to eat at the buffet to celebrate Uncle Dallon graduating from college!  It was a fun time!  The three middle kids got to go to Grandpa Glen and Grandma Nedra's cabin with some cousins.
On the morning of New Year's Eve, we had breakfast with my oldest pal!  It's always fun catching up with her!  P.S. The Station breakfast: so delicious and affordable.

We had a wonderful year full of family, friends, memories, accomplishments, trials, character-building experiences, and so much more.  We felt truly blessed this year!
