Family Reunion

Last week, we headed up to the Twin Falls area for a family reunion. It was really awesome. We have this reunion every other year, and it's just perfect. Also, this year we got to take Dalaki to help out and to see his much-missed friends, the Bakers. My only complaint is that it was too fast, and we had to hurry home too quickly.

I WAS REMINDED THAT FAMILY REALLY IS EVERYTHING!

The kids loved ping pong!

Trex & his paddle; Tay w/ Grandma Jean (she followed her everywhere)

Trex loves Uncle Dalaki and "Grandpa Hat"

Chillin' @ the Lodge; Me getting ready to run the relay race - OUCH!

The VICTORIOUS green team!

Again, we had so much fun. I wish I would have taken more pics of more people, but I was too busy enjoying myself :)

Swimming Lessons and a Half-Marathon

I am so proud of Kinley. Last week, she worked really hard at swimming lessons. Besides going off the board, which she was dealthly afraid of, she learned how to swim all the way across the pool by herself.

Tay also had swimming lessons. She did NOT like getting her eyes wet, but she learned to blow bubbles and play fun games w/ the other kids. It was a huge milestone to get her to go each day without her water wings. :)

They both loved that Aunt Kiana was one of the teachers/lifeguards in charge!

On Friday afternoon, Jeep and I headed to the Bryce Canyon area to pick up running packets. It was eventful, full of car trouble, and stressfull, but we had some great friends to help us out. Plus, it kind of distracted me from the 13.1 mile race the next day. The highlight for me was staying at a Kozy Kabin at the Panguitch KOA. Also, thanks to my friend Lee! Because of her help, I ran the race two minutes faster than last year! Kait and Dallon ran, too. Plus, Jeep and Kiana were great fans. It was an unforgetable experience and a huge accomplishment for me!

An Eventful Week

We are seriously having too much fun this summer. I don't want to leave anything out because it's all so incredible.

Our 4th of July was GREAT - I love our small town and family traditions: parade, park/games/food, family barbecue, and fireworks are awesome!

Sparkler time w/ Kin and Tay

Later the next week, we went to Rock Corral for a cook out. It was so fun, and we really need to do it more often.

Getting ready for smores; It's so pretty!

The weekend brought traveling and fun (but sadly not a lot of pictures - sorry). Saturday morning we headed to cousin Brayden's birthday party; it was a bike party - so fun! Plus, it was great visiting w/ cousins! Then, we headed to Tooele to stay w/ Jeep's brother Josh and have a barbecue w/ cousins on Jeep's side - again, so fun. On Sunday, we headed to the Wren's for a baby blessing - it was a great day also. On the way home, we decided to go for a mountain ride; it was beautiful

We stay busy, but it's worth it!
